Who is this app for?

This app is intended for authorized fire service personnel in Orange County, NY. Access is restricted and not available to the general public.

How do I get access to the app?

You cannot create an account yourself.

Access is invite-only and must be granted by an administrator such as:

  • County Fire Coordinator
  • Your Fire Chief
  • A department officer or authorized admin

An administrator must add your phone number to the system before you can log in.

How do I log in?
  1. Open the app
  2. Enter your phone number
  3. If authorized, you will receive a 6-digit code by text message
  4. Enter the code in the app to complete login

No password is required — login uses one-time passcodes.

I didn’t receive my login code. What should I do?
  • Make sure you entered the correct phone number and 6-digit code
  • Check that your phone can receive SMS messages
  • Confirm your phone number was added correctly by your department admin
  • Wait a minute and try again

If the problem continues, contact support@ocnyfire.app.

I changed my phone number. What should I do?

Contact your Fire Chief or department administrator and ask them to update your number in the system.
